coelho puxa o quê no jogo do bicho NFL Escolhas para a semana 5 da temporada regular
Updated October 8, 2021
The fact that we’ve already reached the fifth week of the NFL season is pretty remarkable. Thus far, we’ve seen some outstanding finishes and wild upsets. Could more of the same becoming this weekend with some huge battles on the way? In this piece, we have NFL Escolhas para a semana 5 da temporada regular, which of course includes the big-time tilt in the NFC East between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Dallas will look to silence the Giants in Arlington on Sunday
It goes without saying, but Dallas will look to silence the Giants in Arlington on Sunday when these two teams meet. The rivalry between New York and Dallas is one that truly is outstanding, with these two teams really not liking one another. In this case, come Week 5, both teams will be facing off after recording some strong wins the Sunday before in Week 4 games.
For the Cowboys, the team took on the Carolina Panthers and the offense was nothing short of brilliant in this one. Dak Prescott has looked like a superstar and that continued in the win over the Panthers. In the victory, the quarterback tossed for four touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliott also had himself a big game, rushing for 143 yards and a score himself.
Meanwhile, for the Giants, New York traveled to New Orleans for a showdown with the Saints and pulled off a remarkable come-from-behind win on the road. While Daniel Jones had a good game, running back Saquon Barkley looked like his old self. He hauled in a long touchdown reception in the fourth quarter and then scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime.
This should be a fun game, which is usually the case whenever the Cowboys and Giants play. According to the Las Vegas sportsbooks, the Cowboys have -300 NFL odds to win this one straight up. Meanwhile, for the Giants, they enter this Sunday showdown as +245 underdogs. While this could be a one-score game, we’re no doubt going with Dallas as our pick. Do you agree? Can Buffalo pull off the upset against Kansas City at Arrowhead?
Elsewhere, can Buffalo pull off the upset against Kansas City at Arrowhead? This might be the most intriguing matchup of the weekend, as this will be a rematch of the AFC Championship Game last season. Kansas City went on to win that game but then ended up losing the Super Bowl to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what turned out to be a rout.
Entering this Week 5 game, Kansas City’s defense will surely need to step up. On the year, the unit is giving up a head-turning 31.25 points per game. This is simply unacceptable. Jalen Hurts threw for 387 yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs in Week 4. While Kansas City won that game 42-30, they would have been in big trouble had Patrick Mahomes now thrown for five scores.
As for the Bills, they were downright dominant last week going up against the lowly Houston Texans. Buffalo recorded a stunning 40-0 victory. Josh Allen tossed for 248 yards and two touchdowns, while the Buffalo defense intercepted Houston quarterback Davis Mills four times. Now, Buffalo will hope to keep its strong ways going against the Chiefs, which is easier said than done.
For this one, Vegas has Kansas City as the favorite, giving them -146 odds. Buffalo will look to surprise plenty of folks, including the oddsmakers, as they’ve been set at +124. This will be a high-scoring game and one that should go back and forth through the four quarters of action. Believe it or not, we think Buffalo will get some revenge on Kansas City in this one. The Bills are our pick.
The Raiders should cover against the Bears on Sunday
Last but not least, the Raiders should cover against the Bears on Sunday when the two teams face off. The Raiders have been brilliant thus far this season, with Derek Carr looking like one of the best signal-callers in the AFC. Add in the play of Josh Jacobs, Henry Ruggs, and others, and Las Vegas is really looking like a threat to take home the AFC West title. This of course is worrying news for Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs as a whole.
On Sunday, they’ll host the Chicago Bears who continue to play a bit of musical chairs at quarterback. Head coach Matt Nagy has once again come out and said that Andy Dalton will be his starting quarterback if he’s healthy. This has infuriated countless folks because of first-round pick Justin Fields waiting to fully get his shot to run the offense. Fields started again in Week 4, a game the team won 24-14 over the Rams.
Yet, if he’s healthy, Dalton will start for Chicago. That’s good news for Raiders fans, as the team’s defense will be ready to shut down the man known as the ‘Red Rocket.’ Per the Las Vegas sportsbooks, the Raiders are 5.5-point favorites for this one. The odds of them covering 5.5 points have been placed at -110. We think LV will win by at least a touchdown, so we’re going with them covering the spread against the Bears.
