The season in the National Football League really is flying by, isn’t it? In Week 6, we saw even more tremendous games. With that said, more of the same is expected to be on the way this weekend as well. In this article, we have our NFL picks for Week 7 contests, which of course includes the big-time matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans.
Leading up to this one, Kansas City is favored to take down Tennessee on Sunday. For the Chiefs, they’ve simply got to record another win in Week 7, as people continue to doubt them left and right. It’s been a strange year for Kansas City, as they’re currently 3-3 on the season. No one expected that, but Mahomes and Co. indeed rebounded in a big way last week against Washington.
In that win, the Chiefs actually trailed 13-10 going into halftime. The fans on Twitter were going into a meltdown, especially after Patrick Mahomes had thrown for two interceptions in the first 30 minutes of action. The second half was a totally different story, though, as Mahomes tossed touchdowns to Tyreek Hill and DeMarcus Robinson, powering KC to a 31-13 win.

Meanwhile, for the Titans, this team is also one to be watched. Ryan Tannehill does a strong job throwing the ball around, while Derrick Henry leads the ground game. The former Alabama superstar is no doubt one of the best running backs in the game and he’s also incredibly tough to bring down. The Kansas City defense will have its hands full trying to contain him.
Per the Las Vegas sportsbooks, the Chiefs indeed have the better NFL odds for this one, as they’ve been listed at -215 despite being the home team. As for Tennessee, they’ve got a bit of an uphill climb on the way, as they’ve been set at +180. While the Titans could make things interesting, we think the Chiefs will be able to record back-to-back wins. We’re going with them as our pick.
Over in the NFC, the Packers should dominate Washington at Lambeau Field in their Week 7 battle. For the Washington Football Team, they’ve simply been way too inconsistent this year and injuries are proving to be a problem for them. Green Bay started the year with a rough loss on the road to the Saints, but they’ve since been able to record five consecutive victories.
In Week 6, Green Bay traveled to Soldier Field for a huge NFC North showdown with the Chicago Bears. As you might have been able to guess, Aaron Rodgers stole the show, as he threw for two touchdowns and then added a rushing score late in the fourth quarter. After that TD, he looked to the Bears fans in the stands and yelled out, ‘I still own you.’ Talk about a power move.
As for Washington, like we mentioned above, they looked poised to pull off an upset over Mahomes and the Chiefs, but they didn’t score a point in the second half.
